Cadenceby Norn Labs

Space operations · Analysis and evidence · Private preview

Keep mission decisions connected to their evidence.

Cadence brings mission context, collision-avoidance analysis, parameter baselines, requirements and technical deliverables into one traceable workspace.

For satellite operators, mission designers and engineering teams.

01The problem

A result is only useful if you can explain how it was produced.

Mission assumptions evolve. Analysis files multiply. Review documents need evidence that still points to the configuration used for the original result.

  • 01Mission inputs in spreadsheets
  • 02Parameters in separate registers
  • 03Results in analysis folders
  • 04Requirements in review matrices
  • 05Decisions in meeting notes
  • 06Deliverables assembled by hand
Cadence

Cadence connects mission context, the recorded analysis configuration and the evidence carried into review.

A clearer way forward ↗

02What it does

Keep the engineering record connected.

Move between mission context, analysis, requirements and deliverables without losing the assumptions behind the work.

01

A mission portfolio with context

Bring mission characteristics, lifecycle reviews, conjunction history, risks and analysis records into the same workspace.

A shared view of the mission record
02

Requirements with visible applicability

Use recorded mission classification and assessed properties to explain which requirements need attention and why.

A mission-specific verification matrix
03

The configuration behind each result

Pin mission inputs and parameter versions to an analysis so its assumptions remain available when the working register changes.

A retained configuration snapshot
04

A controlled analysis handoff

Export a run manifest and import the external analysis results with checks against the recorded configuration.

A traceable result-to-configuration link
05

Evidence ready for review

Connect requirements to the planned approach, supporting references and close-out status, with gaps kept visible.

A reviewable evidence trail
06

Technical deliverables with provenance

Prepare Word reports and spreadsheet grids while retaining source references, section status and required justifications.

Reusable review documents and exports

03Inside the workspace

Inspect the result, the requirement and the review.

Each record answers a different engineering question. Select an example to see how the configuration, evidence and next action stay connected.

Review the findings

The analysis retains the configuration it used. Later edits to the working parameter register do not redefine this recorded result.

04From input to outcome

From mission assumptions to a reviewable deliverable.

The analysis record is a link between the work performed and the evidence submitted for review.

  1. 01

    Define the mission

Record the mission classification, operating context, capabilities and requirements to examine.

  2. 02

    Pin the assumptions

Choose the parameter baseline and create an analysis with the mission inputs it will use.

  3. 03

    Run and reconcile

Export the manifest, perform the analysis with the external toolchain and import matching results.

  4. 04

    Prepare the review

Link evidence to requirements, resolve document gaps and prepare the report for authorised review and issue.

Engineers remain responsible for analysis validity and all spacecraft decisions. Cadence preserves the analysis and review record.

Configuration to evidence

An updated assumption should not rewrite yesterday’s result.

Cadence keeps the configuration used for each analysis alongside the result, so a reviewer can distinguish a new baseline from an earlier recorded run.

A traceable result can still have limitations. Validation differences and manual justifications belong in the review record.

05Scope & availability

Built around engineering review, with scope agreed together.

Cadence is available for private-preview discussions with mission and operations teams. Deployment and analysis scope are confirmed for each engagement.

Your analysis tools remain part of the workflow

Analysis runs in your external toolchain. Cadence prepares the configuration, exchanges run manifests and retains the results for review.

Validation remains explicit

Reference comparisons can carry explained or unresolved differences. A stored result is not presented as independently validated by default.

Operational connections are scoped

The preview uses recorded events and imported analysis results. Live conjunction feeds and operational automation remain outside its current scope.

Preview access through Norn Labs

Discuss your missions, evidence requirements and review process with the team. No general-availability date is promised.
