Cookies
How the corporate website and its optional Notion contact form use browser storage.
Scope
nornlabs.eu is a static website. Its own code includes no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking scripts. Fonts, images and application code are served from this domain.
The contact page also offers a Notion form. It connects to Notion only after you select “Load contact form” or open the public form link. The information below distinguishes our application’s storage from that external service.
What is stored in your browser
The corporate application stores your theme preference, kept in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. Local storage is never sent to our server, so we cannot read it, and it is only created if you use the theme toggle.
- Where:
- localStorage on nornlabs.eu
- Purpose:
- Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme with the toggle in the header. It is only written when you use the toggle.
- Retention:
- Until you clear site data in your browser or choose the other theme.
Storing a preference you have explicitly chosen is a strictly necessary use under the ePrivacy Directive and needs no consent.
The Notion contact form
Loading or opening the form connects your browser to Notion. Notion may use its own cookies or browser storage and receives technical information associated with that connection. Its service operates separately from the corporate website’s theme preference.
Submitting the form stores your enquiry in our Notion workspace. See our Privacy & Security notice and Notion’s privacy information. You can use the direct email addresses on the Contact page instead.
How to remove it
Choosing the other theme replaces the stored value. To delete it entirely, clear site data for nornlabs.eu in your browser's privacy settings; the procedure varies by browser, so refer to its documentation. The site remains usable without a saved preference.
Our products
Our applications run on their own subdomains (for example civitas.nornlabs.eu) and, where they offer accounts, may need a session cookie to keep you signed in. Each application carries its own notice describing what it stores. This page covers only the corporate site.
Changes to this notice
If we ever add something that stores data on your device or sends data to a third party, this page will be updated first and the change will be dated. The date at the top of this page is the date of the last revision.
